Bears live in large forests where they can walk in the evenings. They are looking for food. They prefer to eat roots, berries, or insects.
All bears need a lot of space and do not want to be disturbed by people. Therefore, brown bears are spotted in the forested mountains. With a bit of luck, they will also find small caves in which they like to sleep, especially during the day. Other bear species, such as black bears, panda bears, or spectacled bears, look for caves as cuddly places.
Only the biggest bear lives in a different area. The polar bear needs wide areas of ice and snow to feel comfortable. Once you see a picture of a polar bear, you will recognize it immediately. For it is white as snow.
