Many animals live in the pond – smaller and larger fish, mussels, colorful ducks, and green dragonflies… The fish and the mussels live in the water, the ducks swim on the water’s surface, and the dragonflies fly happily through the air. However, the king of the pond is a green frog. The frog is at home anywhere in the pond.
It loves to swim on the surface of the water and lets the sun warm it up. But it can also dive deep down to the fish. Sometimes it climbs out of the water and makes itself comfortable on a lily pad. It enjoys sitting there and “croaking” loudly. Just listen to how loud frogs can croak.
